DESIGN: HINERAUMATI COLLECTION
Hineraumati is known as the summer maiden, and like her sister (Hinetakurua) she is a wife of the sun Tamanuiteraa. Hineraumati plays an important role in helping the many plants, trees and vegetables to germinate, grow and produce fruit. Working together with her husband who supplies warmth from above, Hineraumati transports nutrients from the ground to the roots of the plants.
PRINT DESIGN: The central image of this print design represents Tamanuiterā, Hineraumati and Hinetakurua, the native flowers on either side are puriri, houhere, pohutukawa and puawananga.
This garment is our frill singlet, styled from the crop singlet. The fitting of this garment is relaxed, but we still recommend you choose the size that would normally fit you e.g. size 14 girls would fit a size LRG nicely.
We have found the length of this garment to be short on some of us girls here in the workshop, and that it stops at the hip.
