Although I dont physically have a moko kauae, I Know within myself I am worthy of this staunch mark. The moko kauae is such a strong statement that is adorned by many maori women.
It is a sign of strength, family, honour and respect.
I know within myself I possess all these values,
and that is all that matters to me and so this reflects in my art of my wahine pop collection.
