I started Manaaki Moments last year as a little creative outlet for myself outside of my mahi and I've been really humbled by the responses.

My intention was to use the earrings to explore and encourage conversations about real expressions of manaaki and as I was creating the instagram page I wrote: "...for us all to seek, enjoy and breathe-in every manaaki moment..." which is how the name came to be.

The colours I choose are deliberate and each has a story that capture the meaningful moments etched in my walrua. Stories about my Ngāti Porou connection and our trips home, the 28th Māori Battalion, Bob Marley's influence, Ranginui, Papatūānuku, my 5 children, and the birth of my first moko.
