I'm 36 Mama to 4 tamariki work from Home and sew all my products in my studio (aka garage)
Started Myli&KO about 5ish years ago once I had my last baby so I could be home to raise them, but also contribute finically.
The name comes from a breakdown of My daughter, niece and Nephews Names Myra, Lily May and Koda.
We were all hapu at the same time and they are all born within 2 months of each other.

It started off small where I was just crotching hats, beanies and sewing bibs
Next came pants and now we are doing full on season drop releases.

Crotching kills my hands now so don't do that anymore 🙁

I started just doing boys clothing as I struggled to find boys clothes I liked for my baby.
Customers ask for girls prints so I started doing girls as well maybe 1.5 years later.
(it grew fast once I added girls' items)

I went for an urban streetwear style prints change to suit the market.
I custom make clothing for babys and bigger kids
I offer from sizes 0-3ms to sz7 currently (hoping to grow that to bigger sizes)
Source fabrics that are soft and comforty for our babies to move and grow in

Future plans/goals for Myli&KO (Dreams)
Grow it bigger so I can employee my people
This includes opening a store in Kerikeri
Creating a new Sister brand called TAMAWHERO By Myli&KO
This brand will have a focus of Maori designs and prints.
