Awa Wahine Magazine ' Rua' is a six-monthly printed magazine by digital blog Awawahine.com. Articles include writings on topics from haputanga, te reo Maori, body image, identity and creative.
Rua was edited by Ataria Sharman, Emma Te Rina Smith and Sinead Overbye and copyedited by Cassie Hart with original cover art by Twyla Bell. Contributors are Miriama Gemmell, Emma Te Rina Smith, Cameron MacCausland Taylor, Tehya Henare-Toka, Colleen Maria Lenihan, Hera Monaghan, Teah Carlson, Simone Kaho, Rosie Moana Pickett, Nurus Van Vliet, Sabreen Islam, Michelle Rahurahu and Sarah Tōmairangi Knipping.
